We absolutely loved staying here. The pool and restaurant were very aesthetic and pink/pretty. The room decorations were very nice, and rooms clean. My only qualm with the rooms is that our windows were blocked by vines, so no natural light. The service was amazing!! Vann at the front desk went above and beyond for us. He hand wrote a list of recommendations for us that he left at the desk for us after his shift. Turn down service exceptional. 5 minute walk from King St and Farmers Market. 10/10.

We came for the New Years eve party. Everything was good. However, the event lacked personality. An MC is necessary for a celebration like NYE. Next year, hire a "hype" personality to engage the crowd beyond just drinks and food!

We had a wonderful day stay at The Ryder Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiling, welcoming faces at the front desk, bar, and restaurant; the kind of genuine hospitality that immediately sets the tone for a great experience. Their ability to accommodate us by securing a last-minute reservation at a nearly impossible-to-book restaurant (Vern's) was truly impressive and speaks volumes about the level of care and concierge-style service they provide. The hotel was impressively clean and well cared for, which added to an overall sense of comfort and ease throughout the space. There was a warm, relaxed feeling that made it easy to settle in and truly enjoy the environment, whether grabbing a drink, spending time in the common outdoor areas, or simply unwinding during the day. There’s a natural warmth to the space, stylish yet cozy, that strikes the perfect balance between elevated design and everyday comfort. It’s clear the team takes pride in both service and presentation, and that attention to detail does not go unnoticed. A lovely experience in Charleston, we would absolutely return.

Used resortpass to spend a day here by the pool, drinks and food were outstanding. Miranda is so wholesome and friendly, she made my and my girl friend have the best time and consistently checked if we needed drinks. Will definitely return for a stay here if I’m back in the Charleston area.

The location is perfect. The rooms are darling and spacious. You even get a plush robe in your room! The pool and bar area is wonderful. The food was really good. I go to conferences in the area, and this is my new go to hotel.

We stayed at the Ryder Hotel in Charleston as a family with two children (ages 12 and 14) and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated, with a large and clean bathroom. The entire property is well-maintained, and the pool area was a big hit with the kids. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Another great plus is the location – everything worth seeing, as well as restaurants and shops, is within easy walking distance. We can definitely recommend the Ryder Hotel.

I am staying here soon, but I needed to change a reservation due to weather and Ryan at the front desk was so accommodating and nice about changing my reservation. Excited to stay here, the customer service has already been amazing!

A group of us stayed at The Ryder for a wedding. The atmosphere had a great vibe. We enjoyed a few days relaxing at the pool. Shout out to our server Miranda. The place was packed but she was cheerful and somehow managed to remember what everyone was drinking!
